The breakfast is substantial, I enjoyed it.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 2 nights, though everything was superb. The room was fabulous and the location was absolutely perfect. Really enjoyed views over garden. Nice place to stay in Saffron Walden, if compared to other hotels.

There were an iron, tea and coffee making facilities, and a work desk in the room, enjoyed that. The bed was soft, a bath worked well: D

My second time here and it was just as lovely as the first. The hosts are fantastic and the new puppy is adorable. The location is so peaceful and serene, perfect for unwinding. The surrounding area offers plenty of ancient towns to explore, like Saffron Walden and Thaxted. The hosts provide everything you could need and the breakfast pack is a great value. The guest house is tastefully decorated and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay.

One downside was the soft mattress on the double bed, a firmer one would have been preferred.

Unser Aufenthalt war fantastisch! Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und lecker, mit frischen und heimischen Leckereien. Gute Lage, zu Fuß war der Hafen und das Kerndorf schnell erreichbar. Das Hotel bot auch einen Fahrradverleih mit fairen Preisen an, um die Gegend zu erkunden.
